New Release! Red Card Roommate

Very quickly on the heels of the previous book, I present to you the first in the Salish Coast University series.  This is a contemporary forced-proximity, enemies-to-lovers, why-choose sports romance.  I know that's a lot in one book, but it works!

I worked on this one over the last couple of months, in between working on Seed Money, which is why they're out at about the same time.  When I got stuck in one, I'd switch to the other.  In fact, I have two more novels that are partially finished as well, and some ideas for a couple more after that.  Welcome to my brain, where there are several engines burning at once.

What's this one about?  I present the blurb:

Kira is ready to start her freshman year at Salish Coast University. With an apartment, a job, and a carefully planned future waiting for her a few hundred miles from home, she's determined to make the most of her fresh start.

Then everything falls apart.

Within hours of arriving, Kira discovers her apartment was part of a scam. Her savings are gone, her car is wrecked, her job disappears before she can even start, and she has no way to replace what she's lost. Desperate and out of options, she accepts the last arrangement she ever wanted: moving in with her cousin's best friend.

Zane.

As captain of the SCU soccer team, Zane is admired by everyone on campus. Kira, however, has spent years trading insults and grudges with him. The feeling has always been mutual. Letting her stay is simply the decent thing to do—but if he can make living with him uncomfortable enough that she leaves quickly, all the better.

At least, that was the plan.

The longer Kira stays, the harder it becomes to imagine the Soccer House without her.

Orion, SCU's star midfielder, notices her the moment she arrives. Talented, driven, and destined for bigger things, he's instantly drawn to the outspoken freshman. But Orion has his own reasons for keeping his distance—along with one very important rule: you don't pursue a girl the captain clearly wants.

Caught between two soccer stars and warned that dating either of them would be a terrible idea, Kira chooses the safe option instead. Garrett is a fellow student, another victim of the apartment scam, and he seems to understand exactly what she's going through.

But as secrets begin to surface, Kira realizes Garrett may not be the person he claims to be—and the men she's trying hardest to avoid might be the ones she can trust most.

In this series, book two, tentatively called Off Sides Girl, is beginning to take shape but is some ways from completion.  It'll probably be available sometime this summer.

Happy reading!
