Lycan Society: Where it all began

I mentioned in my earlier post that I began writing werewolf novels because after reading a novel with a vampire lover, I realized that I was Team Jacob.  I couldn't imagine getting busy an ice cold...well, you know.  BRR!

I much prefer warm and snuggly over cold and dead.  But hey, that's just me.

Inspired by that, I asked myself how a Lycan/werewolf story would go, and my imagination took off.

It began with the idea that twin brothers, Michael and Mitchell, who were living in Portland, Oregon a few years after the pandemic.  The Discovery had already been made and many Lycan were struggling with discrimination, so many people of Lycan ancestry were still living in secret.

Rival packs stir up trouble while Michael reveals something about Mitchell's long-time girlfriend, leading to a betrayal that could tear them apart.

The second book in the series is Bristol Soldier, which picks up where the Ashi leaves off, now following Tanner Kovak, identical twin brother to Danner from the rival pack.

Tanner, a Lycan soldier in the US Military, had traveled all over the world for his job and had been actively seeking his bond-mate. It wasn't until a chance meeting at the airport in Houston that he found her: a blue-eyed brunette human woman that smelled like Christmas. After a whirlwind courtship, they move to his home in the upper Midwest, hoping to find a peaceful country life. Similar troubles that his twin brother experienced in Portland during the Lycan Rumble the year before now seemed to be plaguing him home in the form of anti-human sentiments from Lycan segregationists, and his life changes in ways he never expected.
