I mentioned in my earlier post that I began writing werewolf novels because after reading a novel with a vampire lover, I realized that I was Team Jacob.  I couldn't imagine getting busy an ice cold...well, you know.  BRR! I much prefer warm and snuggly over cold and dead.  But hey, that's just me.  As St. Patrick's Day is today, I present to you the most recent published stand-alone novel, The Ninth Circle.  It embraces the themes of second chance, why choose, and a bit of spice! This story is LOOSELY (and I mean really loosely) based on Dante's Inferno, in that I borrowed heavily on the character names and their attributes, but it is a modern story based in the south side of Chicago.  Many of the characters are of Irish descent, and they hang out at a place called O'Doran's Pub.   Dante owned the most notorious club in the South Chicago area. The speakeasy on the first floor was a popular bar and restaurant with prohibition-themed drinks and specials. The second floor had a strip club. Dearest Gentle Reader-- Just kidding. Hello! I wondered what the difference was between publishing on a blog, or writing what authors are now calling a newsletter?  It seems to amount to the same thing.  So I will begin my author blog here and call it a newsletter.   A Blewsletter.  A Newsblog.   Whatever we call it, I decided that after hitting the 'submit' button more than two dozen times on Kindle Direct Publishing, I figured it was about time to create a blog to keep you up to date on what I'm doing on the writing front.  I don't know if I'll publish something once a week or once a month, or only when I release a new novel.  Time will tell.  And maybe it'll change over time.
